car_ID2There was just something about my car that needed some sprucing up. I saved for my car for years and when I finally had the money to buy it from a friend, it was like emancipatory for me part. It was like I “did” it. Empowered was how I felt when I first drove my very first car. As time went by, my appreciation for my car started to wane. Not that I do not like it anymore. It was more like I needed to redesign it to be able to update it look and for me to view in a much more different light. As they say, you never really get tired to making your car your own. That is if you want to make your car an extension of who you are. It just suddenly dawned on me that I needed to buy new accessories for my car. The first thing I did was change the seat cover into soft leather. My vintage taste when it comes to things was applied to my car through the seat covers I got for it. However, my type of vintage look had to infuse some modern elements to my things. In terms of my car, I also got for it xenon lights. The headlights of my car was one of the aspect I wanted to add twist though my car sort of followed the vintage tradition, I wanted, through my headlights, a contemporary rendition. The blue lights emitted by my xenon lights add that touch of modernity, making my car today. With the vintage elements, my car became the car of yesterday as it is the car of today. Many people appreciate the mixture of old and new in my car. They see it as an expression of the power of tradition and the beauty of the present.

car_ID2My nephew is so addicted to cars. At a young age (he is just 6) he would get hyped up every time i would let him pretend to drive my car while he is on my lap. I am about to get married soon, and plan to have kids of my own. My nephew is like my training so that when I become a father, I would have had experience to do the job well. If my nephew is so crazy about my car, my future wife isn’t. She has been asking me to repair its interiors in preparation for our future family. She would always say that she wont lets our future kids get in my car because it is – why not say it – ugly and the old interior is just ghastly . As her wedding gift for me, she promised to have my car fixed by getting honda accessories for it. Of course, I am thrilled in a way. What I am more thrilled about is that I will surprise her on our wedding day with a new car for her to drive. I think that would send her crying. It will be a happy day that could equal that day she said yes to my proposal. I am looking forward to marrying my life-partner. I hope my gift to her wont cause her to nag about all expenses we have to pay once we start a family of our own. Here’s is to hoping!
