There are many stressful things that come with a private boat sale. First, you might have to incur a lot of expenses to repair and improve it before you can sell it at a value you will be satisfied with. Second, you may have to incur more expenses for transporting it for display in a better place where it can easily be viewed and inspected by prospective buyers. Third, even after all these have been accomplished, it may be difficult to find buyers. To avoid all these, I decided to just donate my boat.
